At Oceanlink Marine Services, we offer Underwater valve plugging services along with underwater inspection and cleaning.

A greywater and sewage discharge system uses Storm valves or Discharge Check valves. These storm valves deteriorate in performance over time. Leaky greywater and sewage system discharge piping is a phenomenon that requires immediate attention to ensure underwater hull integrity and safety of the vessel.

Plugging of underwater discharge pipes is often a requirement when it comes to:

• Checking condition of the existing storm valves by Class
• Replacement of the in-place storm valves
• Leakage repair in the discharge pipe section

Proper and planned maintenance of storm valves ensures the vessel to fully comply with Port, Flag, and Class requirements, allowing the vessel to sail smoothly safety and without delay.

As an underwater service specialist, we ensure that our divers will successfully carry out the plugging of the discharge openings, allowing the ship crew to replace the valve or carry out the necessary repairs.
